At Cartoon People Studio, we specialize in turning important messages into powerful visuals. By combining illustration, storytelling, and design, we create communication tools that simplify complex ideas, spark imagination, and connect deeply with audiences. From children’s books and comics to posters, stickers, and visual guidelines, our work helps NGOs, organizations, and businesses deliver their messages in ways that inspire and last.
Over the years, we’ve partnered with leading organizations in Bangladesh and beyond — including Plan International Bangladesh, IMO, World Bank, BRAC, and Star Cineplex. Our visuals have supported campaigns in education, gender equality, health, migration, and entertainment, making serious issues accessible to children, youth, and wider communities.
Client: Plan International Bangladesh – “Cholo Bodlai” (Let’s Change)
Cartoon People collaborated with Plan International Bangladesh to create Cholo Bodlai, a children’s book developed under the Gender and Breakthrough project. Launched on the International Day of the Girl Child 2018, the book turned adolescents’ voices into fairy-tale-inspired stories and vibrant illustrations. The narratives highlighted barriers to girls’ rights and proposed solutions, making complex topics around gender equality, SRHR, and violence prevention both engaging and understandable for young readers. Today, the project reaches over 300 schools with government funding, in partnership with the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, the Department of Women Affairs, Plan International, and with technical support from UNFPA.
Client: Star Cineplex – “Na Dorai: Adventure of Ayesha”
In collaboration with Star Cineplex, Cartoon People created Bangladesh’s first-ever movie spin-off comic book. Based on the groundbreaking film Na Dorai, the 44-page comic “Adventure of Ayesha” extended the cinematic universe into print. This innovative crossover not only promoted the film but also gave readers a new way to experience Ayesha’s story — proving how comics can be a bold and effective tool for cultural storytelling and marketing.
Behind the scenes, developing the comic was both challenging and rewarding. From scripting and sketching to coloring and designing, every page was crafted with sensitivity and purpose. We worked closely with the film’s production team to ensure the visual tone matched the cinematic universe of No Dorai, while still giving the comic its own unique identity. Creating Bangladesh’s first spin-off comic was a huge responsibility, but also a proud moment for us — a milestone for the growing comic industry and for the voices of women like Ayesha who dare to dream beyond boundaries.
Client: IOM – “Bahadur Goes Abroad”
For IOM UN Migration, Cartoon People designed a comic book titled Bahadur Goes Abroad, created to raise awareness in rural primary schools about the dangers of child trafficking. The story follows Bahadur, a boy who dreams of working abroad, only to encounter traffickers along the way. Through clever visual storytelling, children learn how Bahadur overcomes danger and saves himself — delivering a life-saving message in a form that’s relatable, memorable, and engaging
