Rustom
A New Bangla Folk Fantasy Adventure Begins! Dear readers, after months of preparation and excitement, Cartoon People Comics is thrilled to announce the launch of our second comic book series, inspired by the magical world of Bangla folk tales! Rustom Palowan 1: The Beginning is the first issue in a 10-part adventure series, written and illustrated by Syed Rashad Imam Tanmoy. Created especially for young readers aged 9 to 15, this story brings back the wonder and imagination of the very first comics we fell in love with. Meet Rustom — a messy, curious dreamer from Sonapur, a mythical village where everyone is a farmer… except him. Rustom dreams of becoming a great Palowan (wrestler), traveling across seven seas and thirteen rivers. But his grandfather is the village chief, and in Sonapur, the chief’s rules leave little room for dreamers. One fateful day, Rustom sets out on a journey into the unknown — driven by courage, curiosity, and the hope to find his place in the world. But the questions remain… Will Rustom ever become a true Palowan? And why do the people of Sonapur despise the very idea of being one? Find out in the first installment of this exciting new series — “Rustom Palowan 1: The Beginning.”
