Festivals
Over the years, Cartoon People has celebrated creativity, community, and comics through exciting festivals and events! From the empowering “Girls Do Comics” project—where women told their own stories through art—to the vibrant Cartoon People Festival, filled with exhibitions, workshops, and book launches, each event brings together artists, readers, and dreamers under one joyful roof. These festivals celebrate the spirit of Bangladeshi comics, showcasing new voices, launching original books, and inspiring the next generation of storytellers.

The sci-fi adventures Holien and The Protector explore futuristic worlds, technology, and human emotion, while the Rustom Palowan series ( The Witch’s Curse) dives into folklore and fantasy through thrilling adventures. Each launch showcased the creativity of local artists and marked a new milestone in Bangladesh’s evolving comics scene.
Workshop
Cartoon People has hosted inspiring workshops like Girls Do Comics and Draw Create Collaborate, bringing together artists to learn, share, and create. These sessions celebrate storytelling, creativity, and the growing community of Bangladeshi comic artists.
